Nigeria coach Stephen Keshi has made a passionate plea for patience from the fans.
Keshi who spoke after the Wednesday
morning training session said that the Eagles were very aware of the
situation at hand and the expectations of Nigerians and were therefore
working hard to attain those high marks set.
“We know the
expectations are high but our opponents are not also sleeping, so
Nigerians must be a little patient with the team,” he said.The Wednesday
training was preceded by a general team meeting between the coaches and
the players. The meeting revolved around strategies that can help the
team beat Zambia. The game against the Zambians who are defending
champions is billed for Friday.Nigerians are eager to see Eagles win..GO EAGLES!!!!!!!!!!!!!
